Membership Rules for all trailrides:
1. SADDLE CLUB RIDES ARE FOR MEMBERS ONLY. ANY GUESTS MUST BE INVITED BY RIDE HOST.
2. Unruly horses are to be kept at the rear of the ride.
3. Red flags or ribbons to be on tails of all kicking horses and blue flags or ribbons on all stallions.
4. Horses and riders are to stay on designated trail at all times.
5. Riders are to keep up with horses in front of them to keep riders together.
6. No littering on trails or ride host's property.
7. Respect other riders, horses, and property.
8. Do not RUN horses past other riders.
9. Keep horses 10 feet away from refreshment truck.
10. No blatant drunkenness to the extent that it endangers your person and/or horse, or the person and/or horses of others.
11. MUST BE SADDLED AND READY TO RIDE BY THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME OR YOU
WILL NOT BE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RIDE.

March 28th: Horse Health Day hosted by Riverstone Animal Hospital. 1571 IL Rt 3 in Waterloo, IL. No appointment needed - Vet available from 10a to 12p.
Update (3/24): While we are aware of the current "stay-at-home" order in place in Illinois, we also understand that our pets still need to be taken care of. Therefore after discussing with Riverstone Animal Hospital, we have decided to keep our Horse Health Day for this Saturday, March 28th (from 10am to 12pm). We request that those who attend to please stay at their trailers and do not socialize with other attendees. The office will be closed but you will have the ability to call in and make your payment via credit card or pay via check.
Sunday Trail Ride by Lloyd/Carolyn Schoenbeck 774-2256 and Amy Stellhorn 774-2354. Rt 3 south of Evansville. Left on Union Hall Rd (1/4 mile before Pop-A-Top) across bridge, turn right on Sulser Rd to ride site. Ride at 1PM. Meal provided. Please bring own drinks. Call ahead if cold and windy or wet.
Saturday Arena/Trail day by Nathan & Stephanie Keller (340-9898 or 292-6850). 4322 Kaskaskia Rd, Waterloo, IL (Turn onto Kaskaskia off of Rt 3. Pass 1pm to 6pm. Arrive at any time. Arena will be open for riding practice and they will have smaller trail loops coming and going throughout the afternoon. Meal and Drinks provided. Bring lawn chairs. Call ahead if wet.
May 2nd: Work Day at Johnson Creek Recreation Area, Lake Kincaid
Rt. 3 south of Chester, left on Rt. 151 4 miles to Johnson Creek Recreation Area. Trail maintenance and campground cleanup and repair as part of Adopt A Trail Program with US Forrest Service. Start at 9AM Saturday May 2nd. Meal provided both days. Water truck tank will be available for horses but running water is not readily available. Workers camp at no charge.
Sunday trail ride by Les/Sandy Downing 458-7193 at Johnson Creek Recreation Area, Lake Kincaid. Ride at noon. Meal provided. Bring own drinks.
Saddle Club Fun Show at Monroe County Fairgrounds. 12pm. Classes will include pleasure as well as speed. Please check back for full details closer to the event!
