PDR Saddle Club Events
We are always looking for more events! Rides can be held on private or public property. If you host a ride on private property please ensure you have permission for multiple riders from all landowners. Also, please ensure you notify the Secretary of any Landowners who granted permission so we can invite them to our Appreciation Dinner/Dance in January!

February 17th: Cowboy Breakfast hosted by Lloyd Schoenbeck & Amy Schoenbeck.
Come join the local Cowboys and Cowgirls for a great breakfast buffet and catching up at Reids' Harvest house! Starting at 8:30 but open all morning.

March 3rd: Niebruegge River Ride Hosted by John Niebruegge & Nathan Keller
It's time to get the horses out of the mud and out on the trail! A great first ride of the year - a nice sandy ride out along the Mississippi river bottoms. Meal provided at no cost to members - $10 for non-members. Non-members welcome only as guests of current members.

May 4th: Johnson Creek Recreation Area (Lake Kincaid) Work Day with Weekend Trail Ride hosted by Nathan & Stephanie Keller
Rt. 3 south of Chester, left on Rt. 151 4 miles to Johnson Creek Recreation Area.  Trail maintenance and campground cleanup and repair as part of Adopt A Trail Program with US Forrest Service.  Work day starts at 9AM  Saturday May 4th. Ride Saturday after work complete. Additional ride Sunday starts at 11am May 5th.  Meal provided both days. Water truck tank will be available for horses but running water is not readily available. June 28th - June 30th - Weekend Ride hosted by the Boyd Family
Weekend Trailride @ Hayes Canyon. Members can visit webpage or call (618)672-4751 to book a site.
Dinners are provided Saturday & Sunday, please bring your own drinks.
Electric & water hookups available - limited sites with sewer available. Beautiful campground with on-site horse trails in Shawnee National Forest. Call Ed or Gail Boyd with questions.

August 3rd - BBQ Fundraiser @ Waterloo Rural King
We will be hosting our annual BBQ Fundraiser in front of Rural King with Pork Steaks, Brats & homemade potato salad. Help is needed both day of and day before. Reach out to Nathan Keller with questions (618-292-6850)

Ride out at noon. Meal provided both days.

December 10th: Christmas Dinner.
Join us for our annual Christmas Dinner prior to our December meeting. Details to be provided closer to the event.

January 18th - Annual Dinner & Dance - PDR Legion Hall
If you like good food, good music, and good times... This is what it's all about! Dinner is provided with membership. Dinner at 7pm and Music (Provided by Blossom City Band) from 8p-12a.Guests are welcome for $15 for meal and dinner and $10 for dance only (after 8pm). Members please bring a side or a dessert. Ted and Mandy will provide pork loin and gravy.
